Why is my unspayed cat's belly swollen and she's peeing inside?

This could be a pyometra. A pyometra is an infection of the uterus that is fatal without treatment. With a pyometra, the uterus fills with pus, and that can cause the belly to get big. Have Peekaboo seen by a vet now.

That discharge is very abnormal. My guess is that she may have a pyometra (uterine infection). I suggest you get her to a vet as soon as you can. If you are not near an emergency vet she can likely wait until morning as long as she is eating and drinking OK. If she is acting sick then you need to find an emergency vet right now. I would be concerned that there is an issue such as an infection of the reproductive tract if Seline is not spayed and is constantly having discharge that isn't related to a UTI. Further testing from your vet to rule out these issues, along with bloodwork, X-rays, etc may help narrow down potential causes so they can be treated especially since uterine infections can get very serious quickly.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Bella is beautiful! My concern is that Bella is not spayed and I am worried about the the mucous discharge you are describing. It may be coming from her vulva. She may have a mucous or pus filled uterus. With her belly being big too that is even more likely to be a uterus problem. Is she has a pus filled uterus (pyometra) that is a surgical emergency. It is good that it is draining. My recommendation is have her looked at sooner than later. Other signs of a pyometra in cats can include vomiting, lethargy, and a discharge from the vulva. If you are really scared she has a pyometra, my advice would be to bring her into a vet right away. A pyometra is fatal without treatment, and time is of the essence for the success of treating them. In my opinion, it's always best to be safe than sorry, and I'd rather have an animal checked out with nothing wrong than not have them checked out and it be something serious. It's likely that Princess has hidden the kittens in a safe place rather than eating them. The big belly is probably due to intestinal parasites, which are common in stray cats. Princess will need a deworming treatment from the vet, as will her kittens. I would try to find the kittens, and then bring Princess and her kittens into the vet for an exam and deworming treatment. There is also a chance that her big belly is due to a medical illness, so I would recommend getting routine blood tests and a urinalysis done her on as well.
