Is topical Revolution safe for my cat who licks herself often?

I want to know the safety of a flea medication for cats as it is a topical one.. It's name is revolution (selamectin). because my cat is very hyperactive and always licking her body

Revolution is a very safe product for cats. It should be applied according to directions. You can use it every 30 days. You place the medication topically at the base of the neck. Most cats cannot lick it at that location. However if she does lick a little it will not cause her harm. I actually use it on my own cats.
