Unfortunately, brothers and sisters will mate and the offspring may have health problems, so I would strongly recommend having them desexed as soon as possible. Female cats come into season based on the number of daylight hours, so your kitten may come into season shortly (often January to February). Most cats are close enough in size that it shouldn't be an issue and you should not have to do anything to assist in a normal pregnancy. I would NOT recommend trying to cut open your cat as you will likely injure her and endanger both her and the kittens and this is considered animal cruelty. If she is showing signs of dystocia (difficult birth) and goes into labor for several hours without producing a kitten, seeking emergency care from your vet is needed.

Her breed is only a problem if she or the male cat has large skulls that they may not pass in the birth canal. It is not too early to spay her, in fact I usually recommend spaying at 6months. The more heat cycles so goes through the more at risk she is for mammary and uterine cancers as she ages. My recommendation is to spay her soon. Good luck and kisses to Sussie!

Yes, Pixie can get pregnant as soon as she starts cycling. Yes, it will stunt her growth a little as she is not fully mature yet. She will not mate once she is pregnant but may come back into heat once the litter starts weaning. Cats can be prolific breeders so I would highly recommend to have her spayed ASAP! She can produce up to 27 kittens a year! Lastly, no, you may not be able to tell she has had kittens once she is spayed. I hope this helps!

The concern with breeding siblings is that it can cause genetic problems to be expressed easier due to recessive genes. Unfortunately you will not know if any problems will exist until the kittens are born. To prepare for kittens, the first thing to do is take Mango into the vet to confirm she is pregnant. The vet may be able to do an ultrasound or x-ray to tell you how many kittens she is carrying, and can help give you an approximate time as to when she may give birth. Normally, cats do not need help giving birth, but when it gets closer to the time she is to give birth, she will need a quiet and dark area to give birth to the kittens. You want her as calm and relaxed as possible. Also make sure there is food, water, and a litter box for her in this area. First off, however, take her into a vet. Best of luck!

If she was mature enough to come in to heat she should be fine. When the kittens are weaned at 6-8 weeks I would have her spayed though to prevent further pregnancies and to control the cat population. Good luck!

7 months although not ideal is not uncommon for kittens to be pregnant and complications are quite rare, I would recommend you arrange a full check up with your vet to confirm she is pregnant and the bloating is not caused by any other issue and to check she is in generally good health before the delivery. I recommend restricting her to indoors and ideally to a quiet room with no through traffic so she can settle in and become comfortable before she has the kittens as the weather is much too cold in the UK now for kittens to be born outside. It is worthwhile feeding kitten food in the last 2 weeks (once milk is developing) to increase calorie intake and energy levels
