My 6-month-old Siamese kitten doesn't meow. Is this normal for the breed?

Hi, some cats don’t meaw , they just don’t feel the need as they communicate through body posture, through ears and tail positioning and thanks to pheromones. By looking at her, she looks like a domestic shorthair.. so not s specific breed but so pretty anyway ! I think the name really sweets her too ! Oh my, Moxie is so handsome! Some cats are simply quieter than others, and it could simply be in his nature not to meow. Just like humans, cats have different personalities, and he could be more of an introvert who doesn't have much to say. If he has always been this way, then it's not something to worry about at all. Midnight is absolutely beautiful! It could be that she is suffering from laryngitis, which is an inflammation of the mucous membranes of the larynx. Signs of laryngitis include hoarseness and/or loss of voice. It could also be that she's just a quiet cat who doesn't meow. I wouldn't be concerned if this is how he has always sounded. Upper respiratory infections are very common in young kittens and sometimes swelling can affect the vocal folds - it's possible that he had some scar tissue formed. It's also possible that this is how he was born. If he does have trouble swallowing or breathing, or if he regurgitates or vomits you should see your vet.

Cats have all different 'Meows" just like humans. some are loud and some make the motions with their mouths but no sounds come out. As long as this is how Enzou has always been and assuming that he is healthy, this is not a concern. If this is a new development or if he is sick, have him examined by the veterinarian. How would you possibly know that your cat has high pitch ringing in her ear... Some cats meow less than others, very few do not meow at all though, I wouldn't say it's a sign of any medical condition unless you see her trying to meow and nothing come out.
