My 11.5 yr old cat has had bleeding from her right nostril on & off all winter. We first thought the air was too dry. She has always sneezed/hacked frequently. Recently I noticed a puffiness or a lump noticeable diagonally below her right eye/nose cheek area. The swelling/lump varied in size from day to day. I do not know what to make of these symptoms as presented. Thank you for any guidance.

Poor Nemo! Based on her age and the appearance of her face in the photos, I would be very concerned about a possible nasal tumor causing these issues. It's also possible that she could have an abscess or some type of serious infection. She will need a hands-on exam as well as possibly a biopsy and/or x-rays of her skull to get a better idea of what's going on and what can be done to treat it, so I would recommend taking her to the vet as soon as you can. He/she can do some testing to help diagnose the problem and will discuss treatment options with you depending on what is found.
