Our Cat Tom is having issues going to the bathroom. We found him squaring in a box like he was going to the bathroom & had his "bathroom" face on. We tried to touch him to move him to his litter box & screamed at us in a way I've never heard. Then he pooped just fine in the box. Then I found him squatting again. Then he went to the box again & nothing is coming out.

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Socks. Given that he is now trying to pee with nothing coming out, I'm concerned he could be blocked. A urethral blockage is fatal without treatment, so the best thing to do is take him into an ER vet now. I hope this helps!
