Why is my 6-week-old kitten sneezing and not drinking water?

If she is having upper respiratory signs associated with the inhalation of the water and the milk such as changes in breathing, difficulty swallowing, nasal discharge, weakness, loss of appetite or other changes, please take her into see her veterinarian soon as she may have developed pneumonia from aspirating the liquids. She may need a chest x-ray to confirm this and may need to be on antibiotics for a while. If she appears normal otherwise, just keep an eye on herald take her in if any of the above signs are witnessed.

This is usually treated with antibiotic eye drops and oral antibiotics and cats usually respond well to therapy. If they agree that based on an examination, that seems to be the issue, they will likely prescribe medications to make him feel better. Poor Cloud! With the sneezing he could have a simple respiratory infection or he could have something more serious like pneumonia or a viral infection. I would recommend to get him to a vet for an exam, diagnostics, and possible medications to help make him feel better. Since he is so small I would make sure you are continuing to feed him every 2-3 hours and try to get him to a vet soon.

Vomiting can occur from many conditions such as foreign body ingestion and obstruction, pancreatitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, among other possibilities. I recommend that you have them evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. This will likely require bloodwork and abdominal imaging in terms of diagnostics. Treatment would be based on findings. At the very least your veterinarian could start them on medications to make them feel better. Hello, Many kittens can suffer from viral respiratory infections that progress to secondary bacterial infections with pneumonia.
