My kitten is sneezing a lot but seems healthy. Does he need an ER vet?

Unfortunately it's illegal from me to recommend giving him Benadryl without seeing him in person. I am quite concerned that he's breathing funny and isn't really eating. As long as she is otherwise normal, you don't have to rush her into a vet right away. Now if she starts having excessive nasal discharge, eye discharge, coughing, becomes lethargic, and/or has a decrease or loss of appetite, then I would take her into the vet sooner. Best of luck.

Is it a lot of blood or just a drop? if it is a lot of blood I recommend emergency. If it is a drop and only happened once and he is acting ok then you can wait. There are veterinarians typically open on Saturday that are not emergency hospitals. I would talk with your veterinarian about a possible polyp if he consistently is having respiratory issues. Poor Ravioli! The two most common reasons for sneezing are infection (most common) or allergies (less common). Ravioli may need to be examined by the veterinarian if he starts not eating well, not drinking well, acting lethargic, if his eyes start to have problems, if he has green or yellow discharge from eyes or nose or if he gets worse. No, I don’t think he needs to go to the ER unless he is having problems breathing. You can just take him back to your regulate vet. My guess is that he has a herpes virus infection so please bring that up to your vet.
