Why are my 4-month-old kitten's front teeth turning grayish?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 4 days old | 6.5 lbs

My kitten is 4 months old and it appears that her front teeth are turning grayish. Could this be from her chewing on something or is there something wrong?

She is at the age where she will loose all these teeth very soon, probably in the next couple months, so it might be because of that. if the color remains there on the new set of teeth after the age of 6 months then i would suspect it is something she is chewing, but for now just monitor it.
