My kitten fell from height, now quiet, shaking. When to see vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Turkish Angora | Male | unneutered | 4.409 lbs

Hello Dr My cat a 3 moths old today seems jumped it fell down of my balcony from the second floor, he landed in the sand, I don't know how long he stayed outside, anyway I get him back to my apartment and then washed him , he is fine, can walk, unharmed, but he became very very quite and powerless, he ate a little then he is sleeping like under coma, sometimes he is shaking strangely like he is deeming, I am very worried about him, can you advise me please. Thanks a lot

Hi there,

It sounds like Leo may have hit his head and may be having small seizures. I would recommend you take him to your veterinarian as soon as possible for an exam, especially if he's acting like he's in a coma.

It could be an idiopathic seizure, meaning there is no known cause. My kitten can't hold head up, slept all day. Is it an emergency?

It sounds like Meeko could have seriously hurt himself jumping, and I'm concerned he has trouble keeping his head up. I think he needs to see a vet now. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. I would recommend Brownie see a veterinarian today to be sure she hasn't sustained any injuries that are not directly obvious, such as a head injury, just to be on the safe side. Sometimes injuries may not be noticed at first after a traumatic event such as a fall from a window, even if they land on their feet, so I would recommend Brownie get looked at by a veterinarian today if possible. My 6-week-old kitten fell and passed out. Is she injured?

I'm quite concerned that Finn appeared to pass out. I would have her seen by a vet immediately, as she could have suffering internal injuries from the fall. She needs veterinary attention now, please bring her into a vet.
