It's best to use an eye-specific antibiotic medication if you're going to use an over-the-counter type. Not one designed for skin wounds. If this is unavailable, clean the eyes gently with a warm washcloth to keep them open and clean until you can get to a vet.

The dexamethasone steroid in Tobradex could worsen the eye condition if Habla also has a corneal scratch or ulceration. Tobramycin opththalmic antibiotic drops without the dex would be much better to give three times a day for 7 days if you are not able to take her to a vet for a fluorescein stain to rule out a corneal scratch or ulcer. If the eyes are swollen because of conjunctivitis (a bacterial eye infection) and especially if there is also ocular discharge, Apisal or Refresh saline drops alone will likely not clear the infection. Terramycin is commonly prescribed in cats and kittens, but I cannot recommend its use for Snowball until she has been examined by a veterinarian to make sure that it is the appropriate medication for her eye problem.

Kitten needs to be examined by the veterinarian today. Many cats will get viral infections that cause sneezing and upper respiratory symptoms. Some of these kittens will get viral infections that also affect the eye and can cause painful ulcers which can progress and dive deeper into the eye (which is not good). Lysine supplements for cats may help with viral infections in general but your kitten still needs to be examined today. The doctor needs to check the eye for an ulcer, scratch or perhaps a foreign object trapped under the eye lid. You must also protect the eye from any scratching with an elizabethan collar. Panther likely has a viral infection or upper respiratory infection and now a secondary bacterial infection in his eyes. The only thing I can tell you to do at home is to gently warm compress his eyes. He sadly needs to see a Vet for antibiotic ointment in the eye. Due to the sensitivity of the eye, a special ointment or drop that is safe for the eye needs to be used. Cats are especially sensitive to certain eye medications. It shouldn't be too expensive to have him seen by a Vet. Also a lot of SPCAs have a low cost Veterinary clinic. I wish you the best and a speedy recovery for Panther!

Your kitty likely is suffering from an upper respiratory infection and should be seen by a vet for an exam and deworming. It will likely need prescription antibiotics. In the meantime (until you can take her to a vet) you can tak a cloth with warm water an soak the eyes. This should help with opening them. You can then gently wipe off the purulent discharge.
