What is the difference between a deformed leg and a broken bone in a kitten and how can you tell one from the other. Since I think that a newborn kitten has a deformed leg what should I do so that the kitten can walk again. In latter years is there any special type of cat food that this kitten should eat or can it have regular cat food.

In your x-ray I do see the broken pelvis and it looks like it is left sided based on the markers on the x-ray. I'm surprised that she would be putting weight on her left leg, but it's possible that she has another injury that wouldn't be apparent on the x-ray or that the x-ray was mislabeled if this is the case. I would recommend calling or rechecking with the vet - they might want to repeat an x-ray to see if things have changed and if there is something wrong on the other side of her pelvis and leg.
