If she is experiencing a lot of pain than she should be examined by a vet to determine the cause. She may be just having some constipation issues but a vet could check to make sure she doesn't have a congenital malformation and/or problems with her hips or pelvis. If it is just constipation than you could add a teaspoon of canned pumpkin to her diet to increase the fiber and see if that helps.

With a 2 month old kitten crying in the litter box I would be concerned about diarrhea or even constipation. If Lola was just born within the last few days, then I would be highly suspicious of a condition called atresia aria (blocked rectum) or even fibrous tissue blocking her from being able to defecate. If you cannot locate an opening back there then it is best to take her to your vet asap. There may be some things that can be done, depending on the extent, to help her be able to relieve herself. I also suspect that the crying and moving a lot, is in response to her being backed up and not being able to go potty.

If she is a bottle fed kitten that is sometimes a side effect of the Kitten Milk Replacer. I usually recommend starting bottle fed kittens on kitten food as early as 3 weeks to help prevent constipation. The safest and best thing for her is for you to bring her to a Vet today. She is very young and constipation can be very uncomfortable. There are no safe human medications to give her. Cats do not handle human medications due to their metabolism. This could definitely be because of the change of food but the black color concerns me that there may be digested blood present. Since she is so young and tiny, I would consider this urgent so I would try to get her into the vet soon. I would that she may become dehydrated or sicker if it isn't addressed. Your vet will likely want to run a fecal on her to check for any intestinal parasites. They may also want to know the food you are feeding her. I hope this helps and she starts to feel better soon.

I would recommend that you have Kiara checked out by the vet. Constipation can be a serious issue in kittens, and she may need an enema, which should only be administered by the vet to avoid tearing the delicate colon tissue. The vet may recommend an x-ray to check for any congenital issues that could lead to the constipation. You can try using a moist rag and squeezing very **gently** on the outside of the bulging anus to try to help remove some of the feces.

Poor Lilli! The diarrhea could be due to many conditions including a viral infection, bacterial over growth, parasites or other even organ disease. I recommend to have her examined by the veterinarian. With severe diarrhea, there are often bacterial shifts in the gut that will make matters worse regardless of the initial cause. Make sure to bring in a sample of fresh stool. The doctor will check her for parasites and bacterial over growth. Additionally, the veterinarian can provide medications for symptomatic treatment. Many times a bland diet can help and then a slow, gradual introduction to the regular food can be done. A good diet in general is Royal Canin. It is low residue and highly digestible.
