My kitten can't move, has diarrhea, and flu. What's wrong?

Common causes for diarrhea and flu-like symptoms in a kitten include intestinal parasites, bacterial or viral gastroenteritis (like feline panleukopenia), GI blockage, among others. You can get a pet dewormer and try to slowly syringe water or pedialyte with a little honey in it. Make sure he is swallowing so that the water doesn't go into his lungs. If he has a bacterial infection, he needs to see a vet for antibiotics. If he has panleukopenia, his prognosis is very poor even with veterinary care. Keep him warm and clean and try to get fluids into him.

Poor Coco. I am so sorry to hear he's sick. It sounds like you are not in a location where you are able to get him to a vet? If it is at all possible to travel to where you can get him evaluated by a veterinarian you need to do so, I am very worried about him. If you absolutely can't get him in to a vet for treatment, keep him in a warm area, try to gently hand feed him small bites of chicken or tuna, and if he isn't drinking at all you can use a dropper to moisten his mouth and encourage him to drink. Please don't forcefeed him or try to force water into his mouth, as this could lead to him aspirating (getting it into his lungs instead of his stomach). Unfortunately I don't have any "home remedies" for you other than providing him nursing care and trying to keep him comfortable, but I am very worried he may be dying. I am so sorry I don't have more to advise you to do at home. Get him to a vet if you can.

Poor Snow! If he has no energy and can't even stand up, this is a very serious problem - he needs to see an emergency vet immediately. This would not be caused by withholding food for 10 hours; severe lethargy or weakness like this is generally a sign of a serious illness such as feline panleukopenia. Your vet can do some diagnostic testing to help determine what's wrong and get him started on appropriate treatment. I would recommend taking him to see the vet right now, as this may be a life-threatening problem.

My new cat has sneezing, eye mucus, and diarrhea. Is it cat flu?

It is most likely that he has a viral form of cat flu, this is really common especially in cats who have been in shelters. There is no treatment for the virus as such, if he seems particularly unwell it may have become bacterial so a trip to the vet and sone antibiotics may be required. The diarrohea could be infection or just inflammation from stress/ intolerance etc. If it is intermittent I would try a gadtroitestinal food and you could give a pribiotic. If it becomes regular you should go to the vet.

Why is my foster kitten vomiting pink liquid and having diarrhea?

Poor kitty. Vomiting and diarrhea in a such a young kitty can be caused by a bacterial or viral infection in most cases. If kitty gets into things it can also be causaed by a foreign body ingestion. I would highly recommend taking this fur ball to your local vet for a thorough check up and medications to stop the vomtiing and potentially antibiotics may be needed.. The fluids should help keep him from getting too dehydrated in the meantime. I hope that your little one is able to make a full and speedy recovery. Best wishes and take care.

My 9-week-old kitten has yellow diarrhea and is tired. What's wrong?

She is cute! She could have an infection or a parasite. You could take a stool sample to your vet and have it tested for parasites. If she hasn't been dewormed then an intestinal parasite is a definite possibility and your vet can prescribe a dewormer. She might also need some fluids to prevent dehydration. You could also add a probiotic to her food and see if that helps. Hope she gets better soon!

No, this is not normal. Not eating is very abnormal in young kittens. Most common reasons for the behavior you described is viral disease and internal parasites. Other options are trauma (like he fell and hurt himself) and intestinal obstruction. Milo really needs to be assessed by a veterinarian as soon as possible.
