This is very common when you bring in a new cat into an environment. A lot of it is jealousy but also being territorial. I would make sure you have multiple litter boxes. I would also try to get some feliway diffusers to put around the house. Feliway is a cat pheromone which sometimes helps to calm them but not always. Also, give it some time. It sometimes takes several weeks for them to start playing and becoming tolerant of each other. If after a 4-6 weeks you are still having a lot of problems, I would talk to your vet about starting Coco on an anti-anxiety medicine to help calm her or consider finding a home for one of the kittens. I legally cannot recommend doing this without seeing Molly in person. I would separate the cats, and slowly reintroduce them to each other. Take the cat who is aggressive, and put her in her own room with her own food, water, and litter box. Keep the door closed, and for a few days, feed them both treats on other side of door so they associate each other's smell with a good experience. Then let the other cat in the aggressive cat's room while the aggressive cat is in a cat carrier. They can smell each other, but not be in contact. If either becomes upset or show signs of aggression, remove the second cat from the room, and try again later. Praise them when they interact appropriately. When they are interacting well with each other through the carrier, you can let the aggressive cat out of her room, and see how she interacts with the other cat. Cats exhibit this behavior sometimes when one leaves the house. Most of the time it’s more growling and hissing and running then anything else. Most cats will get over this quickly. Supervise them so that they don’t hurt each other and make sure one does not bully the other.
