My kitten ate Ivomec. What should I do if my cat ingested poison?

Warfarin (Coumdain) usage in cats is highly problematic and can cause massive internal bleeding. I would highly recommend taking your pet to your local vet right away for monitoring and treatment (if needed). I know it may be hard to find a vet open on today. Hello, it really depends on what poison or toxin your cat got into. There are specific therapies for these. If it is recent ingestion of a toxin or poison, you may have your veterinarian induce vomiting to prevent the side effects of this toxin. I would recommend finding immediate emergency care for your cat and informing them what specific poison or ingestion of toxin you think your cat got into so that they can better help you. Please have the label available so you can let them know the type of poison listed, and what any other potentially concerning ingredients were. 

You will need to find a vet to make your kitten regurgitate the pill. Call your vet's office and you will get emergency information on the answering machine. This is life threatening. These are signs of possible intoxication. A ER vet should be seek and found as soon as possible to give appropriate treatment. IV fluids gastric decontamination and medication to decrease gastrointestinal absorption are required.

I would be concerned about the potential for serotonin syndrome secondary to this medication. It could cause agitation, high heart rate or blood pressure, muscle tremors or seizures.
