My 8-week-old kitten ate a diabetes pill. What should I do now?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

My kitten just ate a diabetes pill that fell on the floor. She is about 8 weeks old. We live in a small town and vets are closed.

You will need to find a vet to make your kitten regurgitate the pill. Call your vet's office and you will get emergency information on the answering machine. This is life threatening. Please take her to a vet , even if it means driving to another town. Here are emergency vets near Selkirk: https://tinyurl.com/y8nd6fce
