My kitten ate buttered popcorn with nacho cheese. Should I worry?

Most likely she will have several bouts of diarrhea and perhaps some vomiting. The butter will create a sort of slip-n-slide and cause loss of fluid so it is important to give her small amounts of Pedialyte (if diarrhea or vomiting do occur) to prevent dehydration. Also a bland diet of tuna and rice can be given to help her stomach settle. She should slowly improve over the next few days as the butter exits her system.

Plain popcorn is fine for them to eat occasionally, but I would limit it to only a few (3-5)pieces at a time, because cats are designed to mostly eat animal - based food. I would also make sure that it doesn't contain too much salt.

You may see some GI upset in the form of vomiting and diarrhea in Gillian because dairy causes that in cats, but it's not toxic. If you do see GI upset, I recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours, then feeding a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet.

However, these ingredients are toxic in larger amounts, and it does not seem like you used much of the salsa in your queso. I recommend keeping a close eye on Marvin - he should be seen by a vet if he develops lethargy, vomiting, or inappetance. I hope all is well!

There is no concern for toxicity here. Pepperoni may cause some upset stomach issues but other than that she should be fine. If you do see some upset stomach symptoms (vomiting, diarrhea), then you can try a probiotic (i.e. Culturelle over the counter) and a bland diet of lean ground beef and rice and pumpkin (not the pie filling) for a few days, then slowly transition her back to her normal diet. Oh no it's not good that Kitty ate that vomit! At most, I would expect that eating this vomit could cause some GI upset, causing her to vomit and/or have diarrhea. It's good that it doesn't look like she has eaten the plastic bag, and if she ate the bag, I would be concerned that the bag could cause a foreign body obstruction. Keep an eye on her for now, and if you see any vomiting or diarrhea, I can give you a home remedy to see if that helps her. I recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours, then feeding a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, she stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.
