My diabetic cat is throwing up a lot. Is it related to her diabetes?

Usually stress in the environment doesn't cause vomiting in cats. I would be more concerned Simba could have another infection (Diabetes does predispose him to getting those) such as a urinary tract infection but cats can get gallbladder issues, pancreatitis or even liver infections. If this vomiting continues, Simba acts abnormal at all I recommend contacting your veterinarian to discuss rechecking him and maybe having blood work rechecked on him.

Vomiting can be a sign of elevated glucose levels. If your pet has skipped an insulin treatment then this can very well be the reason why she is now sick. It is best to feed her a meal and get her back on her insulin regimen as soon as possible to avoid prolonged high sugar levels that will continue to make her ill. If she is also refraining from eating and continues to act ill, then it is best to get her seen by a vet right away because she may be ketoacidotic (high level of ketones in the body due to excessively high sugar levels in the bloodstream) and in need of emergency treatment to help stabilize her.

I would be concerned about either diabetes or hyperthyroidism in Fuu. The symptoms you described can be seen with both of these diseases that usually affect older cats. I would recommend taking Fuu in to your vet to have some blood work performed. This simple test can distinguish between these two diseases. If she has diabetes she will need insulin injections daily and hyperthyroidism can be easily treated with a daily medication as well. Good luck!

Diabetes could be an issue with your cat, especially if she has lost weight recently. This could be due to a diabetic crisis, i strongly recommend taking him to the vet ASAP in order to get it checked, he will need a blood test of course to monitor his blood glucose levels which might be too high.

Vomiting can occur from many conditions such as kidney disease, pancreatitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, among other possibilities. I recommend that you have Peaches evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. This will likely require bloodwork and abdominal imaging in terms of diagnostics. Treatment would be based on findings. At the very least your veterinarian could start him on medications to make him feel better.
