Pet's info: Cat | American Bobtail Shorthair | Female | 7 years and 11 months old | 9 lbs
My cat is ten yrs old and recently diagnosed with diabetes I give her 1 unit of insulin 2 times a day the food they gave me she will not eat!! So I'm thinking to put her on Fancy Feast she lost 6lbs and she needs something that appeals to her so I'm wondering if that is an ok food for her ???

Some cats can go into remission from diabetes, however insulin it does need to be started initially at the same time as food. It doesn't work to just change to a diabetes diet. I would recommend scheduling an appointment with her veterinarian right away to do some blood testing and get her started on insulin. Good luck!
