While I don't consider it dangerous to allow Camoo to clean himself, it would be a much faster process to bathe him. That being said, many cats will fight bathing, and if he has just recovered from a serious wound, it isn't worth fighting with him to accomplish the bath. If he will calmly tolerate the bath, then it is worth trying that route. If he is used to the cone at this point, you might leave it on during the bath, just in case he gets upset, as this can protect your hands from bites. It all depends on his temperament and reaction to water. I recommend offering lots of treats through the bath to try and make it a positive experience. Hello, you should not bathe Batman for two weeks until his incision has healed. You would use a skin sensitive baby wipe to clean him off as long as you don't clean around his scrotum. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! Poor Pocky! I would be sure he doesn't have fleas or a skin infection. If he does treat the fleas as that will relieve the scratching. If the has red crusty bumps he may have an allergy to the food or environment or a skin infection. If that is the case it is best to see a vet. Otherwise I really like water-less shampoo to clean animals that can't be bathed. Have a good day!

You can be a good kitten parent and help her clean by taking a wet cloth or tissue and clean off the diarrhea. Make sure you remove it all and then throw away the tissue or wash the cloth. If the diarrhea does not go away within a few days, you should take her to your vet for an exam. She may have worms or an intestinal infection or a food sensitivity issue that needs to be addressed.
