My cat has a white skin growth, but no fur loss. What is it?

It looks like a little wart or less likely a skin cyst. These are quite harmless and go away on their own. If it grows, changes colors or starts to bother Wendyl, then you should take her to the vet to get it checked out. They can take it off easily and send it to the lab for positive identification if needed.

It's hard to tell the size but it looks like it may be a benign wart or growth. It appears to be more on the surface of the skin which is good, and it is well defined. Cats do get malignant skin growths so it is a good idea to have your veterinarian examine it and feel underneath also. They can easily remove this if necessary and do a biopsy. I'm so sorry about your kitty. It's very normal to need time to process and grieve and not want to deal with things for a while. While any grown could be cancerous, this one doesn't look horribly suspicious. I would recommend getting her in before the end of April to have it looked at, or sooner if it's obviously growing.

The pink raised mass in the picture appears to be a wart. I would not be concerned about this unless it grows or changes in color. The lump you feel could range from a cyst to a cancerous growth. I would recommend taking her to a veterinarian for an aspirate. This is where they can take cells from the mass and look at it with microscope

I would get this checked out by a vet. I worry about these dark-colored masses being melanoma, which can be a serious cancer if not controlled soon enough. It's also possible that this is a benign skin tumor or cyst, but there's no way to tell for sure from looking at it. A sample will need to be analyzed under a microscope in order to tell what type of mass it is. I hope that helps and all is well with the cat.

It may be a bit of dry skin or a benign growth. It doesn't look serious to me in the pictures and I'd just keep an eye on it for now. This definitely could be a skin tag and nothing to worry about, but since it is new, I would have your vet take a look at it once to ensure it doesn’t need to be removed. There are other types of skin masses that can look similar to skin tags but are actually cancerous so it is always better to just have someone confirm. I hope this helps!
