Cat has been puking all afternoon, puked up some plastic and we're worried bc she's puked 7 times today. Seems mostly fine otherwise. Should we wait it out or see a vet now?

If she continues to have a good appetite, then I think you can continue to monitor at home. Try really hard to find where she is finding the plastic to eat. Small bits of plastic could cause enough irritation to the esophagus and stomach to lead to vomiting. If at any time she seems lethargic, has belly pain, if the vomiting becomes more frequent than once a day, or she has a decreased appetite, she should go to the vet right away.
