My cat is vomiting foam and has diarrhea. New kitten or plant?

It sounds as Sia is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

I don't think this require an emergency visit but i would definitely recommend making a sooner apointment for you vet, preferably before the weekend as this sound like a gastrointestinal condition that will require treatment, possibly a course of antibiotics and a change of food.

Depending on her exam findings, diagnostic tests such as blood work and x-rays may be discussed. A treatment plan, including fluids to rehydrate her, will be formulated. She could have eaten a foreign object that is causing an obstruction in gastrointestinal tract. Intestinal infections or generalized inflammation can cause vomiting as well. I would be worried if Chi Chi is acting weak. Viral infections can be serious and potentially fatal. A severe parasite infection or toxin can also look the same way. If you can get to a veterinarian, go today! The doctor can test for viruses and treat her with antivomiting medications and fluids. If there are no veterinarians around, you need to be force feeding her and giving her water with a syringe or an eye dropper. Try to get at least 30cc of water in her per day and 10cc of soft food. Hello, If the kitten is weaned, milk can cause gastrointestinal upset as they are no longer supposed to be drinking it. Vomit and diarrhea could be caused by this, parasites, viral infections, or intestinal blockages. Foaming at the mouth can be a sign of abdominal pain and nausea. Unfortunately the only thing you can do is keep Cali quiet and warm, and get her into a vet asap. I would be very concerned based on your description of her symptoms that she has a pyometra. A pyometra is a life threatening infection of the uterus that is fatal without treatment. If she does in fact have a pyometra, she needs to see a vet now. I would call around to see if you can find an ER clinic to take her into, if there is a vet on call to see her, or get her into a vet clinic as soon as they open. I hope this helps!

I am sorry, but these symptoms are very severe and can be caused by a number of illnesses including kidney failure, infection with bacteria or virus, dehydration, oral disease, autoimmune disease, etc. All of these are treated differently. It is important to try to keep Chotu warm. You can try to get some water or pedialyte into her. You may need to travel to a vet to be able to get her better, though.
