Why is my cat vomiting clear mucus, but his belly isn't sore?

That's definitely concerning. Bombay could have something stuck in his intestines, an intestinal parasite, or even a metabolic problem. I would recommend getting him to the clinic this week for an exam and some x-rays to see if they can find a cause. He could also have vomited once because of eating something strange or a virus, and the vomiting itself irritated his stomach so he keeps vomiting - sometime treatment with fluids and an anti-vomiting medication is all that is needed to settle these guys down, but it's important to do testing first to make sure nothing else is going on. They will likely recommend x-rays or an ultrasound to look at the abdomen and help determine the cause of the distention and the vomiting. If there is something causing an obstruction, Tommy may need surgery to remove what every is present. There are many other things that he may benefit from as well, such as a medication to treat nausea and fluids to treat dehydration. It is best that Tommy be examined as quickly as possible.

It sounds as Wala is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

It could be from an upset stomach, and I can give you a home remedy for him to see if that helps. Withhold food tonight, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he refuses to eat the bland diet, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.
