Hi, my cat has a large inflamed ulcer on his tongue. It has persisted for about 6 months now, with frequent visits to my Vet who cannot identify the cause. He says what is peculiar is that it is localised to the tongue only. An initial program of Cortisone injections seemed to clear it up. But then it returned a month later. Now, subsequent Cortisone injections seem to have no effect. It looks very painful. Any ideas? I would be most grateful.
