Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 17 lbs
My cat got a small cut on his tail about a month back, it seemed small and superficial but he chewed on it and made it worse. I E-collared him for a short time and the wound seemed to heal, but then he caused it to bleed by chewing again. Currently he acts normal, no fever, healthy appetite, and he no longer chews on the area. My only concern is that the wound /scab seems to be healing slowly and a darker red. (no obvious pus or abscesses ) Does this warrant a visit to the vet?
