Hi my cat is 4 yrs old and is an indoor cat. He started scratching and creating sores. I took him to the vet and they said it could be mange. Vet gave a cortisone inj and gave him revolution treatment.. some of the sores have cleared but now he has 2 sores on the back of this head. If it's mange wouldn't the treatment work?

Revolution does do a good job of killing mites, but it does have to be applied every 2-3 weeks for several treatments in order to kill all of the mites. It does take more than one treatment for mange to be completely cured. I would continue with the protocol your vet prescribed, and if you have any additional questions on it, I would speak to your vet about your concerns.
