How to get my cat to sleep in his own bed when I have allergies?

At such a young age she should adapt very well to such a situation in a few days. I would use a covered box (possibly with hot water bottle depending on where you are) to help her snuggle up and settle and ensure she has easy access to food, water and litter tray in her resting area - I would feed her here at mealtimes to build a positive association. Plenty of active play throughout the evening can help to promote sleep also

I suggest blocking off your bed so that Oli doesn't have access to it for a few weeks. At the same time have a nice, comfy bed for Oli in the same room. You may also want to offer Oli a Kong stuffed with peanut butter or spray cheese so that can distract him in his bed. This is a tough situation. Regarding the allergies, you need to speak with your regular human doctor. Sometimes medications may help. Don't feel bad putting him in a room when you have tasks that need to get done. He won't be mad if he is put in the bath room for an hour. This behavior may calm down as well as he continues to adjust to his new home. If you don't want to give him back to the shelter, you may ask friends/family about adopting him. I hope this helps.

Unfortunately, this is a very common problem - it's normal for cats to be awake and active during the night, since they are nocturnal animals. There are a few things you can do to help. First, try and provide something for Bixby to do at night while you're sleeping - I really like food puzzle toys for this purpose, like a Kibble Nibble or Eggcersizer. You can pick up his food bowl a few hours before bed, and give him the toy with kibble in it at bedtime. He will need to roll it around to get bits of food to fall out, one piece at a time, which should help to keep him occupied with something fairly quiet during the night. You can also try giving him a natural calming supplement like Composure before bed to see if this helps. Finally, I would recommend closing your bedroom door to keep him out of your room at night, and using a white noise machine or something similar to help block out any noise from other parts of the house so that you can sleep.

Brushing more often (in an area that's easy to clean up any hair that flies away) can certainly help. Keeping carpets and furniture clean can also help reduce pet dander and allergens. If you do a search online, there are also special shampoo sprays that can be used on cats to help reduce excess dander without harm to your cat. Having an antihistamine on hand for your friend to use, and keeping bedding/cat towers/etc out of common areas your friend will frequent may also help.

Your kitties are so cute! Yes it's possible to get Kiki to sleep on your bed, but given she is a young kitten, she may be more interested in playing at night than sleeping. When you go to bed, you can try bringing her in with you and your other cat, and give her treats when she lays down on your bed. That way, she associates your bed with a good thing, and may be more likely to lie down there. Keep in mind that cats and kittens can be finicky about where they sleep, and she may sleep there for a while, then move to a new favorite spot. This is completely normal. As she grows older, she may chose to want to sleep on your bed more, but for now, giving her treats when she is on it will provide a good association with being there and make it more likely she will want to lie on the bed.
