My cat delivered kittens and is shaking. Should I be worried?

It could be that Shiver has more kittens that still need to be born, but without seeing her in person, I can't say for certain. It's concerning that three have been stillborn, and I would be worried there's something wrong and she needs help giving birth. My advice is to take her into a vet immediately to be checked out. With recently giving birth I would be worried about an infection in her uterus or mammary glands. I also can't rule out there's nothing wrong with the kittens and that's why she's favoring one. I recommend taking everyone to a vet to make sure they are all healthy. They can check the kittens mouths for abnormalities and check out mom and get her temperature. Shaking or trembling in your cat could indicate pain or discomfort. If the shaking is severe I would be worried about seizure like activity. I would recommend taking KitKat in to see your vet as something serious may be going on. Hopefully your vet can pinpoint the problem, with a physical exam and possibly blood work, and help to stop the shaking.

If you can wake her up and the shaking stops it is not a seizure and is more likely movement associated with REM sleep. If you try to wake her up but she continues to have muscle tremors it could be a seizure or neurologic disorder and you should see your veterinarian. If you do decide to see your veterinarian a video can help them determine what might be going on.

When pets have seizures, they are unable to respond to normal stimuli like calling their name. The shivering is still concerning because cats should not shiver. He could be sick and I recommend to have him examined today to play it safe. I hope this helps.

You can see some bleeding after giving birth, that is normal, but without seeing her in person, I can't say if it's normal or not for sure I'd be concerned she may have more kittens yet to be born. Have her seen by a vet immediately. As for the milk, yes it's normal to still have milk there.

This could be a sign that labor is near however it could be normal behavior for this stage of pregnancy. I would monitor Kawaii for any vaginal discharge, appetite change, hiding behavior or active contractions. If you notice any of those signs it is a more reliable indicator of labor. If she has any green discharge, contractions without producing any kittens, or has a foul smelling vaginal discharge she needs to be examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible.
