My cat's kitten died. Why is she acting sad, meowing, and not eating?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 6 months old | 6.6 lbs

HELP PLEASE!My cat gave birth to one single premature kitten about 5days ago,and the kitten died after two days,since then my cat keeps meowing loudly and wallking everywhere as she is looking for something.she seems stressed and lethargic.she has been passing drops of blood now and then but not too much.she lost her appetite.I’m so worried about her and I don’t have money to get her to the vet,please I need an answer ASAP.could she be sad over baby?She had watery eyes today as if she is crying.

I'm so sorry that Alva is having troubles, and sorry that we weren't able to get to your question sooner. I can understand why you are worried about your girl! Yes, she could be distressed and upset from the loss of the kitten. Give her some TLC and some time; if she is still having discharge in another 5-7 days, try to get her in to the vet. If she's acting otherwise sick (vomiting, diarrhea, etc), please have her seen as well.
