I would recommend having Lilly see a veterinarian. I would want to make sure it isn't medically related and more related to having the other cats gone. If they don't see anything medically going on I would recommend making sure you are spending extra quality time with her doing things she loves and then discussing medication with your vet. Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! Poor Mystique! I would start with a Vet exam as she is a senior cat to be sure the symptoms you are seeing aren't medical in nature. At almost 15 I would worry about kidney and liver disease, diabetes, an over active thyroid and cancer or even arthritis for her depression. It has also been 3 years, animals do feel sadness when the house hold changes but that is a long time to assume her behavior is due to that. If she medically checks out fine I would try to enrich her environment to stimulate her and get a few Feliway diffusers. Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. Dogs and cats definitely grieve for other animals. There are calming supplements and diets which can be very helpful, as well as pheromone and comfort zone diffusers which can help cats adapt to such situations. A full health check and possibly blood panel should be considered to rule out medical causes especially if there is any weight loss or altered thirst

It's possible Ginger is responding due to the changes in the household. To help her cope, keep her on a routine, set aside 30 minutes a day for playtime and give her lots of attention. Monitor her closely for any signs of illness and have her examined if needed. Most cats will get back to normal within a few weeks. I am so sorry to hear about your losses. It is never easy to lose a special part of the family. Depending on what is going on with your other two cats, they could be depressed or ill. They could be saddened by losing the other two cats especially if they were friends with one another. As long as they are eating and they just seem to somewhat depressed, I would just continue to give them time. If they are not eating, lethargy, vomiting, having diarrhea, sneezing, coughing, or having any other abnormal behaviors then I would recommend to have your vet take a look at them. If all of your cats were completely healthy and over a few weeks to months been getting ill I would consider having their blood work checked and their feline leukemia and feline aids statuses check to ensure there is no toxins or viruses involved that could have affected all 4 cats. Without all the information and without being able to do a full exam, it is difficult to give you all the details as what could possibly be wrong with them.
