Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 months and 17 days old

I took my cat to the vet today and they gave us antifungle cream because we thing she has ringworm on her nose and ear. She has been rubbing her face and now her eye is swollen. What do I do, she isn’t scratching her eye, I think she rubbed the cream into her eye

Your can rinse her eyes well with water or with isotonic saline eye rinse. Then I would recommend a follow up with your veterinarian tomorrow to see if there are any concerns or any precautions moving forward. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
