My cat's eyes look red and watery. Does she need a vet diagnosis?

In that picture, I can't tell if there is anything wrong with the eye. Puffy, red, watery eyes with nasal discharge in a cat is usually an indication of an upper respiratory infection. This could only be verified with a physical exam from a vet who would be able to rule out something else, like a primary ocular issue +/- allergies. If an upper respiratory infection is the culprit, antibiotics, eye medication, and immunoboosters usually do the trick with 7-10 days of treatment. Best of luck to you and Letty!

It looks like Kitty might have an upper respiratory infection causing conjunctivitis. A viral infection is most common, although secondary bacterial infections can also occur. A scratch on the surface of the eye could also cause redness and discharge but would not cause sneezing. I would recommend seeing your veterinarian for an exam. They can check for a scratch on the cornea or prescribe medications to treat a respiratory infection.

It looks like a very severe eye infection, you must take your kitten to the vet urgently in order to get it treated, he will need antibiotic eye drops. failure to treat it fast will result in blindness in both eyes.

Poor Snowball! Since she is still squinting with watery eye discharge after 6 days on Terramycin, you should take her to the vet now. The most common cause of recurrent eye issues and sneezing is due to viral infections (herpesvirus and calicivirus) that can cause both eye and upper respiratory signs when they shed intermittently. Signs typically resolve once the virus is done shedding, but many cats can also develop secondary bacterial infections which require antibiotics for treatment.
