Found a cat not moving, standing, or eating. What should I do?

Oh dear, poor Meow! Since she is not moving, eating or drinking, my main concern is that she has experienced significant trauma in her travels, either from a long fall or being hit by a car. These traumatic events can cause major head trauma, rib fractures, or internal injuries that can be quite severe and painful. This sounds like a serious internal illness. You should take Growler in to your local ER vet right away for testing and medical care depending on what his condition is. Just about every disease process can cause these symptoms, including kidney disease, liver disease, an infection, and a bladder obstruction. Hello. I am so sorry for your worries with this kitty. Your picture paints a thousand words. This is a severely emaciated cat, & even with major medical care, she is very likely to die. When they get this bad, it is almost impossible to recover them. Keep doing what you are doing, but I am afraid there may just be too much damage for her body to ever get well. Any cat that is hiding and not eating is sick. She needs to see a vet ASAP. When cats don't eat for about 3 days their liver starts to mobilize fats for energy and this causes fatty liver disease. So, she may get fatty liver disease on top of already having another illness which will make her prognosis even worse. Please get her to a vet ASAP.

Not going to the bathroom, lack of appetite and laying in one spot can be a sign of a blockage in the urethra or intestines. Without knowing more, I think it's best if you do take her for an evaluation by a vet ASAP, because this could be a serious problem.
