Found a cat not eating, bleeding, and peeing often. Is she sick?

Hi i found a cat today and i dont know if she is sick she meows and purrs sometimes but shes mostly still and not eating when i found her she had blood i thought maybe she just recently had kittens but im not sure i thought she might be deppressed and she pees like maybe deppressed and she pees like every 5 to 10 minutes but i dont know if its blood i see i just really need some help i dont want her to be sick and die

Poor kitty! I totally understand your concerns here, as I too am deeply concerned about this cats current condition. These symptoms suggest this cat may have a severe urinary tract infection or even a bleeding abnormality, if you are seeing blood coming from the vaginal area. A uterine infection (pyometra) is also possible here which can be life threatening if not treated medically. This cat needs to be taken to a vet hospital right away for treatment, because this is beyond what you can do for this kitty at home. They need to run some diagnostics on this cat, which will likely be bloodwork +/- abdominal radiographs and likely a urine test if a bladder infection is suspected after a complete physical exam is done. Please take kitty in to your local vet right away for further care before her condition gets any worse.
If you can't get her in right away then offer kitty some low sodium chicken or beef broth and small amounts of non-flavored Pedialyte diluted with water using a syringe or small turkey baster. I hope your kitty gets better soon!

    Poor Tommi! It sounds like she's quite ill - not eating, laying around, and urinating in strange places with blood in the urine are all signs of a serious problem. I'm afraid that she really needs to see a vet right away, so I would try to convince your mother that this is necessary - she may die without veterinary care, and is certainly very uncomfortable and suffering right now. It does sound like she has a urinary problem of some kind, such as bladder stones, FIC (feline idiopathic cystitis), or a severe bladder or kidney infection. These conditions will not resolve on their own, she needs to be treated by a veterinarian right away.

Poor cat! If the injury is serious as you say then kitty needs to be seen by your local vet for medical treatment and proper wound management. Depending on the nature of the injury, kitty may need sutures or staples, antibiotics and pain medication. Blood in the urine is a sign of stress, and weakness indicates that this kitty has a general illness such as infection going on that isn't being properly treated for. I seriously hope that your cat get the proper care soon and can recover from this unfortunate situation. OH my. I am not sure where she is bleeding from, but a coagulation disorder or bleeding disorder is likely the cause of her illness. A toxin ingestion or immune mediated condition is typically the cause for bleeding disorders in pets. I would highly recommend taking Miaw in to your local vet right away for treatment! She is in need of medical attention right away to hopefully stabilize her condition quickly. A blood test will likely be recommended to gather more clues as to the underlying cause for her bleeding problem and inappetence. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Julie! Blood in the urine can indicate a urinary tract infection, crystals in the urine or bladder stones. She may not be eating because she is uncomfortable or has a fever. I recommend that Julie sees a Veterinarian. They may check her urine for infection or crystals. If she is older they may want to run blood work. They also may want to take an X-ray to check for a bladder stone. If it is a urinary tract infection she needs antibiotics. If it is crystals in the urine then we usually change the diet. If bladder stones, ideally surgery is recommended. I hope this helps and I wish Julie a speedy recovery!

It sounds like Ophelia has multiple issues here, and could have a very severe infection of her bladder.I would highly recommend taking her in to your local vet right away! : ( She is too unstable and should be seen immediately for medical care before this gets any worse. Why is my cat sick with bloody diarrhea, vomiting, and no appetite?
Oh my. Poor kitty. Once a kitty gets this sick it is imperative to take them to the vet right away for testing and treatment. She could have a number of things going on with her including w foreign body obstruction, Toxin ingestion or even underlying kidney disease. It is unlikely she will get better without veterinary care. You can try offering her a small amount of tuna or boiled plain chicken and rice and 1-2 tsp of karo syrup to keep her blood glucose up tonight if you absolutely cannot get her seen right away. But an ER vet visit should be highly considered if possible. If not then get her seen as soon as possible tomorrow morning. I hope that your cat Dinah is able to make a full and speedy recovery. Hello and thank you for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Given that Minx is a young male cat and having abnormal urinations and likely blood in his urine, I suspect that he may be suffering from Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), or inflammation in the lower urinary tract. This is causing him difficulty urinating, and painful urination. I recommend having him seen by a veterinarian right away, before he becomes fully "blocked", meaning unable to pass any urine at all. This is a life-threatening emergency, and requires rapid veterinary attention. Your veterinarian will perform a physical exam and likely recommend bloodwork to evaluate the severity of his urinary tract disease. FIC is a treatable condition, but again, if he becomes unable to pass any urine at all, he can experience acute kidney failure and develop fatal heart rhythms. I hope this is helpful!
