My cat won't eat after treatment. Should I give him his vitamins?

I don't know what injection your cat received but I don't think vitamins will help make him eat. I recommend going back to your vet because cats cannot go very long without eating. It can make them worse very quickly. I also don't recommend the human eye meds because cats don't have the same pH as we do. Your vet may need to do further testing to help find the cause of his inappetence.

Without knowing what specific poison Kiki was exposed to it's impossible to give specific advice but I'm happy your vet thought he would be fine! It is important to make sure he is eating and drinking with no vomiting or lethargy that could indicate symptoms of poisoning. You can mix a little water in with his wet food to encourage more water consumption. Continue feeding canned cat food as this is the most nutritious option (better than chicken). Hope this helps!

Keep the area clean and dry. Warm his food slightly or mix in a teaspoon of baby food to stimulate his appetite. It is vital that he begins eating again. Cats who do not eat for 2+ days are at high risk of developing serious liver related complications. If his anorexia persists, he will need to be rechecked by your veterinarian as soon as possible. If you see very dark urine or a yellow tinge to his skin, gums, or whites of his eyes, then have him examined immediately.

What a cute kitten! Offering a meat flavored baby food may help entice him to eat. Warming his food may also allow him to smell it better which will help his appetite. Offer him small meals several times a day as his stomach is too small to eat a lot at one time at this age. Definitely have him rechecked by your veterinarian if he's not eating by tomorrow. If the kitten is not nursing from his mother I recommend bottle or tube feeding with kitten milk replacer. Tube feeding needs to be taught by your Vet. When a kitten stops nursing it likely means that they are sick. The best thing is to have the kitten examined by a Vet. He could have a genetic problem, something infectious or be constipated. Be sure you are stimulating him to defecate and urinate. I wish you the best.

He may not feel like eating just yet as it is common it can take a day for his appetite to come back. I would let him rest today and let the medication start working. Try his food or even a little tuna in the morning. If he is still uninterested then you might want to get him rechecked for further testing
