My kitten's new food lacks dried veggies. Do cats need vegetables?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 7 days old

Hello, I used to feed my kitten purina's friskies dry food along with chicken or canned food but my vet advised me to switch to kitten chow and i am concerned beck it doesn't have any dried vegetables for my kitten won't eat any veggies except for those dried ones in friskies, what do u think?

Cats are obligate carnivores and do not "need" vegetables or carbohydrates to maintain health. Any carbs or vegetables they do eat are typically found in the gut of small mammals. As long as Cutie is eating a good quality canned or dry kitten food, he is eating a balanced diet.
