My cat is still nauseous after vomiting and diarrhea. What helps?

The best anti-nausea medications are prescription, and I always prefer to use injectible anti-nausea medications because they work faster and better. My favorite anti-nausea medication for cats is Cerenia ( https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4952775 ). I would recommend contacting your veterinarian to let them know that Joey is still nauseated and see what medication they would recommend. Good luck! I am so sorry Ginger is not feeling well. It sounds like Ginger is in serious condition and needs to see a vet as soon as you can get him there. There are no over the counter medications that are safe give cats that are as sick as Ginger. There are lots of medical problems than can cause a cat to stop eating and have vomiting and diarrhea, and most of them a pretty serious. Some examples are gastrointestinal infection, toxins, pancreatitis, foreign body, kidney issues, liver issues, infectious viruses, etc. He needs to see a doctor to get a diagnosis and get started on medications prescribed by a veterinarian. If Boxer is not improving and is not eating or drinking, I would recommend taking him back to the veterinarian for a recheck and having anti-nausea medications and fluids given to see if this helps further. If he continues to not eat, he may need a feeding tube if his liver becomes affected. I hope this helps! I would avoid giving Calpol as cats are very sensitive to this drug and can develop toxicity quite easily. There are safer fever reducers such as Meloxicam that you can have your veterinarian prescribe for you. I hope this helps! If he is not eating much that can cause him to attempt to vomit but not bring anything up. The veterinarian may recommend doing further diagnostics such as bloodwork or xrays to figure out what is wrong with Winnie. Viral disease, toxin ingestion, GI blockage can all cause illness with vomiting, so Winnie really needs further diagnostics for the best chance at successful treatment. Loss of appetite, vomiting and diarrhea can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you have Miu reevaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as she has not improved in the treatments they have recommended so far. I would recommend having her re-examined and do further diagnostics like X-rays and blood work to determine why. If she is still eating and drinking and energetic, you could wait until Tuesday. Destiny may be dehydrated from the vomiting. If the veterinarian did not administer fluids under the skin already, I would recommend calling the vet back and seeing if this is something that can be done or if it is something that needs to be done.
