Even if they feel comfortable prescribing this medication in an off-label fashion (which is commonly done!), the volume of medication appropriate for Moyel is so minuscule that it's next to impossible to achieve accurate dosing. I would instead ask if they have recommendations for topical treatments of moxidectin or selamectin if they're more comfortable using those medications rather than injectable ivermectin.
