My 1-year-old cat has elevated ALT (155 iu/l) and AST (90 iu/l). Normal ranges are 29-145 and 12-42, respectively. He shows no signs of illness. My vet prescribed 2 medications for him, but I'm not sure if they're safe. The first one is called PENNel and has 25 mg of Biphenyl dimethyl dicrboxylate and 50 mg of garlic oil. Isn't garlic toxic to cats? The other one is Feroglobin (iron, zinc, lysine, minerals and vitamin B complex) with honey, malt & orange flavor. Are these safe for him?
