Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Male | neutered | 16.6 lbs
Hi, I was browsing online for recipes to make air fresheners using essential oils. One site included a list of oils that are potentially hazardous to cats. I did some research and I learned that cats are unable to metabolize essential oils due to the lack of glucuronyl transferase, a liver enzyme. I've been using essential oils in air diffusers, laundry detergents, homemade cleaning supplies and more. I am so worried now. How can I tell if my cat has been harmed by the oils?
