My cat licked eyebrow tint. Is it safe or toxic for them to ingest?

I think you are worrying too much. When gets lick a toxic substance they almost always start drooling and foaming at the mouth. If he didn't do that then he likely didn't get enough or any at all in his mouth. Just monitor him for now and if he starts acting sick then I would get him to your vet for an exam. Best wishes.

Hi and thanks for posting! The Bio-Groom ear mite cleanser does contain Pyrethrins which can be toxic if consumed in large amounts. While licking a very small amount of it from his paw may not be enough to cause a serious problem, I would still keep on the look out. Concerning signs to watch out for are tremors, seizures, hypersalivation, panting, vomiting, and diarrhea. If you see any of these signs, I would recommend seeing a veterinarian right away.

Ingesting a small amount of shampoo (provided it isnt' a medicated kind) would not be likely to cause any poisoning/toxicity in your kitty, but could cause some stomach upset. I would just recommend monitoring her appetite and energy level and watching for vomiting. If you notice changes in these then a visit to your vet is recommended.

Just keep an eye on her. She would need to eat a lot of the product to get sick. You may want to give some wet food with added water to get the product to pass through more quickly. I would expect some drooling as the only side effect. Do monitor her though and should you see any medical problems such as tremors or vomiting and diarrhea then I would take her in. Hello, and thank you for your question. Aloe vera should not be toxic by itself. I am also assuming he did not lick very much if it was rubbed into your face previously. However, if you notice vomiting, diarrhea, reduced appetite, or lethargy within the next 24 hours, I would advise you to visit your veterinarian, in case there were other ingredients in the gel that caused stomach upset. Most of these products cause mild GI upset or excessive salivation when they are ingested, but rarely life threatening signs.
