My cat licked aloe vera gel. Will he be okay? Is it toxic?

The sap of the aloe plant can cause a dog to vomit and/or have diarrhea, but would not cause any other problems beyond that. It seems like she had a very small amount, so it's likely that she won't have any problems, but she may vomit or have loose stools in the next 24 hours. This is expected to be temporary though and would be back to normal within two days. If you happen to notice any problems beyond that, then it would be best to take Bella to a vet. If she licked an after sun product, first try to determine the exact product that was used, then call the ASPCA animal poison control center to determine if there are any associated toxicities with this product (888-426-4435; there is a $65 consultation fee). If there are no other toxicities, you can try withholding food for 12 hours, then offering small frequent meals of boiled white meat chicken and white rice for several days. After that time, gradually transition back to Molly's normal diet over another 5-7 days. If the vomiting continues, or if she also develops diarrhea, a loss of appetite and lethargy, Molly will need to go to her vet for evaluation. I hope that all goes well!

A small amount of lime juice should not cause any problems except potentially a little drooling/ gastrointestinal upset. It is usually the skin and oils from citrus fruit that can cause toxicity. I doubt a tiny amount like your described will cause any harm. Just continue to watch him. If he shows any change in behavior, vomiting, or diarrhea I would let your vet take a look at him to see if he needs any meds to help him feel better. I hope this helps!

If there was some pollen on your hands that you transferred on Oreo's fur, then yes there is a chance that he may get into trouble. You should brush him as soon as possible and monitor for signs of vomiting, lethargy and lack of appetite. If you notice that he is unwell, you should take him to your local vets right away. If you touched only the leaves or stems with your hands, it will not cause any problems to your cat.

Turtle will likely be fine if she just licked a small portion of your hand. Signs to watch out for that something is wrong include lethargy, drooling or vomiting, loss of appetite, or changes in behavior. If you notice such symptoms for more than 24 hours, or ones that are severe, a vet visit is best.

Cleaning solutions are usually irritating to the stomach and intestines, but don't tend to cause much internal toxicity besides that. If she is eating, drinking and acting normally, then I would not be too concerned. She may have diarrhea for a day or two also, but this is OK. If she continues to vomit for more than 24 hours, has diarrhea for more than three days, or is not eating, drinking and acting normally, then I recommend taking her to the vet.
