Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This can result in depression, vomiting and diarrhea. If you notice any of these signs, have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to get him on medications to get him through this which may take a few days to clear up. Otherwise, he should be fine. Best of luck!

The aloe vera plant is produces mild to moderate toxic effects when chewed or ingested. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite as well as a change in urine color. If Snitch simply chewed but did not eat any part of the plant, you may see mild signs of GI upset. Remove the plant from within his reach, monitor for symptoms and see your vet if symptoms worsen or persist.
