My cat is lethargic, not moving, has dilated eyes. Is it dying?

Dilated pupils can be due to pain, nausea, anxiety, ingestion of toxic substances or neurological conditions. If she is eating and drinking and showing no other signs such as twitching or confusion you could provide plenty of fluids and bland food for 24 hours and monitor for any other signs. If she is otherwise unwell she should be seen as soon as possible

Poor Sushi! This could be caused from pain, fear, or even from certain toxins or medications. Since he isn't eating and his pupils are dilated, I would strongly consider having your vet take a look at him. Your vet will be able to do blood work on him to determine if there is any type of toxin involved and also be able to get him started on fluids or pain meds if needed. I hope this helps!

Loss of appetite and lethargy can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. I'm sorry you and KJ are going through this. It sounds like he is very unwell, and he is likely in a lot of pain. Please have him seen by a veterinarian immediately. Your vet will be able to perform a physical exam to help figure out what is going on, and offer treatment options. If your vet determines that euthanasia is a reasonable option, they will let you know. It may well be the case that euthanasia is recommended, but it's impossible to tell without an exam. There are a number of factors that could have lead to KJ's current condition, but it is essential that you get KJ to a vet immediately so that he does not suffer.
