Why is my cat not eating, lethargic, with low temp and lung issues?

There is no way to tell what’s going on without examining him but some common possibilities are: a cat bite wound/ abscess, kidney disease, pancreatitis, something stuck in the GI tract, heart disease, diabetes, and others. Take Luke into the vet tomorrow. He or she will ask many more questions, do a physical exam, and rank these in order of most likely depending on those findings as well as his age, etc. He or she may recommend bloodwork which can help rule out some of those things mentioned above and may raise or lower suspicion for a toxin. Loss of appetite and lethargy can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. Cold feet could be an indication of dehydration, low blood pressure, hypothermia, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you have Chaz evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible for further assessment and treatment as this can be something concerning. Hi and thank you for your question on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am sorry Ickle is having these issues- sounds like there is a lot going on with him.. It is hard to say what exactly is causing Ickle's symptoms without examining him first, but these symptoms could point to advanced stage kidney disease which is very common in cats and can cause lethargy, anemia, and inappetence as toxins that should be normally filtered by the kidneys build up in the body. Kidneys make a substance that stimulated red blood cell production so when the kidney function in compromised, this substance is not made as much as can cause anemia. Another possibility may be liver disease or certain cancers. A simple blood test can be determine what organ(s) are not functioning well so the appropriate treatments can be given. I am sorry to hear about Luna. Since she is lethargic and has a decreased appetite, I would recommend she have an examination by her vet. She may have an upper respiratory infection that requires treatment, and reasons we recommend veterinary care include lethargy, decreased appetite, trouble breathing, coughing. Hello, & thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Poor Gypsy has picked up an infection, either bacterial or viral. It is also possibly he has gotten into a fight with another cat & has sustained a bite which in now infected. Cats can not go very long without eating. After just 3 days we can see damage to the liver. Gypsy needs to see a veterinarian tomorrow to see if he needs some fluids & antibiotics to help get well & feel better.

When pets have a drop in body temperature, it generally indicates they are very sick. Pets can become hypothermic due to severe infections, poisons or a ruptured internal tumor or organ. All of these conditions are potentially fatal. I recommend to have Zivac examined by his veterinarian quickly. It's always better to play it safe.
