Poor cat! If the injury is serious as you say then kitty needs to be seen by your local vet for medical treatment and proper wound management. Depending on the nature of the injury, kitty may need sutures or staples, antibiotics and pain medication. Blood in the urine is a sign of stress, and weakness indicates that this kitty has a general illness such as infection going on that isn't being properly treated for. I seriously hope that your cat get the proper care soon and can recover from this unfortunate situation. Kitty may have endured some trauma to her bones or ligaments or perhaps internal organ damage. If she is laying down more frequently and had or is current experiencing trouble walking, she is likely in some pain/discomfort and my best advice would be to take her to see a veterinarian as soon as possible for an exam, x-rays and/or blood work to get a definitive diagnosis. CJ really needs a vet visit when you can manage it. In older cats hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, diabetes mellitus, inflammatory bowel disease are possibilities and require bloodwork to diagnose. The good news is many of the conditions can be treated or managed but you need a diagnosis in order to determine the best treatment.
