My cat has yellow skin, won't eat, and blood in her urine. What to do?

Poor Roxie! I'm sorry to hear that she isn't feeling well. The yellowish tint to her nose and skin is actually a very concerning sign - this is called icterus or jaundice, and usually indicates either severe liver disease or a dangerous blood disorder such as IMHA (immune-mediated hemolytic anemia). This indicates that she has a life-threatening problem that really needs veterinary care as soon as possible. I would recommend taking her to the vet today for an exam - he/she can do blood work and other testing if needed to help diagnose the problem and get her started on appropriate treatment right away.

Poor Cye Cye! It definitely sounds like something is wrong. If her gums look yellow, this is a very serious sign - it can be caused by liver disease, or certain types of anemia. Weight loss and decreased appetite are non-specific signs that can be caused by almost any kind of illness. Since this sounds like it may be a life-threatening problem, I would really recommend taking Cye Cye to an emergency clinic tonight if possible. The veterinarian there can do blood work and x-rays if needed to help diagnose the problem and see what can be done to help her. If you're not sure where to go, try calling your regular vet's office. Their voicemail message should have contact information for an on-call doctor or your nearest emergency clinic.

Poor kitty! I totally understand your concerns here, as I too am deeply concerned about this cats current condition. These symptoms suggest this cat may have a severe urinary tract infection or even a bleeding abnormality, if you are seeing blood coming from the vaginal area. A uterine infection (pyometra) is also possible here which can be life threatening if not treated medically. This cat needs to be taken to a vet hospital right away for treatment, because this is beyond what you can do for this kitty at home. They need to run some diagnostics on this cat, which will likely be bloodwork +/- abdominal radiographs and likely a urine test if a bladder infection is suspected after a complete physical exam is done. Please take kitty in to your local vet right away for further care before her condition gets any worse. If you can't get her in right away then offer kitty some low sodium chicken or beef broth and small amounts of non-flavored Pedialyte diluted with water using a syringe or small turkey baster. It is common for cats to hide when they don't feel well. She needs to be taken to a vet to have the lethargy and bloody urine addressed. They will do blood work to check her kidneys function and a urine sample to check for an infection. Weight loss and dehydration can occur quickly in older cats. Your vet can better guide you in her quality of life based on the diagnostics.

Pets with profuse bleeding from the rectum and/or vomiting blood need to be examined by the veterinarian quickly. Poor cat! If the injury is serious as you say then kitty needs to be seen by your local vet for medical treatment and proper wound management. Depending on the nature of the injury, kitty may need sutures or staples, antibiotics and pain medication. Blood in the urine is a sign of stress, and weakness indicates that this kitty has a general illness such as infection going on that isn't being properly treated for. I seriously hope that your cat get the proper care soon and can recover from this unfortunate situation.
