Cat injured in fight, won't eat, shaking. Vets closed. What can I do?

It is painful and makes the cat not want to eat. She will need to see a veterinarian to determine if this is the case. If so, treatment such as antibiotics will be necessary. He's likely had a traumatic several weeks! Put him in a dark quiet room with his food, water, and litterbox, and minimize his stress. However, he should be seen by the vet as soon as possible - I'm concerned he may be fighting an abscess (infection) and may require antibiotics to get better. Hope this helps!

She probably has a wound from the cat fight. I recommend checking her carefully and clean any scab you find with hydrogen peroxide. It’s best to keep the wound open so the infection can drain. If she stops eating or is too painful then please take her in for a veterinary exam and treatment. Poor baby. It sounds to me like he needs additional medical attention. His pain control may not be adequate for his injuries, or he could be developing an infection. I would recommend taking him to an emergency vet clinic tonight to be assessed and his treatment adjusted.

Hi, I would recommend to have your cat checked over as she might need antibiotics and possible antinflammatories. Also it is worthy to have a look to see if it just a superficial injury or something more serious. Hope this helps !

I would give her a few hours to see if she'll eventually come out on her own to inspect her for injuries. You can try enticing her out with cat food or even some chicken warmed up so it's really smelly, and then inspect her as she's focused on eating. If she won't come out/eat at all, seems severely injured or in distress, or you suspect wounds, it is best to seek veterinary care ASAP especially since wild animals can transmit diseases.
