Poor girl. If she is not eating food, then this is an indicator that she may have an infection. At this age, most of the kittens should be almost weaned off of her, so it is ok if she is not producing a lot of milk. Poor Girl! Motherhood can be rough. Since it has been 3 days, I strongly recommend having your vet take a look at her. Since she is nursing, the kittens are depleting her of hydration and nutrients so waiting too long can make things worse. Having babies can mess up their blood values and cause issues. Your vet will likely run bloodwork. They will put her some meds that are safe for the nursing kittens if needed to help her feel better.

Luna may be feeling a bit stressed out if there are a lot of other people or pets in the house and may be staying near her kittens for protection and safety. Giving her some space to relax and care for the kittens as well as keeping curious children and pets away from them can help. You can also try placing her food and water near the area she is hiding so she has the ability to get the food and water she needs while nursing her kittens. You do want to make sure all the kittens are doing OK by checking on them every so often, however too much can increase stress on mom and babies. If Luna doesn't improve or you see any signs of illness from mom or babies, scheduling a vet check is best.

Hello, sorry to hear about Buttercup. She may be experiencing some post partum pain. This should improve in several days. Ensure Buttercup is getting adequate amount of food and water. You can offer her kitten food as well while she is nursing. She can eat as ofter as every 6 hours. If her meowing does not improve, if she does not want to eat or drink, she has tremors, or is weak and lethargic, haver her evaluated by your veterinarian immediately. If Zoe is eating/drinking/alert/nursing and caring for her kittens perhaps she is just overwhelmed with caring for the kittens and not thinking of herself. I would recommend taking her temperature (a rectal temperature can be taken with any thermometer that has been lubricated well) and be sure she doesn't have a fever (normal temp is 100-102.5). Monitor her to be sure she is eating/drinking/using the bathroom/caring for her kittens. You may use a washrag with warm water and pet shampoo to cleanse her if needed. If you she doesn't start to groom herself or becomes lethargic/stops eating/vomits/stops caring for her kittens or has a fever then an examination by her vet is indicated.

Just like humans, there are many reasons Lana may not be interested in food and it is impossible to know without a physical exam. It's possible there are still kittens inside the uterus.
